Sergio, I feel as an Irish patriot that it is only fair that I give a more balanced review of your trip to the beautiful emerald isles. Firstly, and I feel that this is an important point, although you rightly said that music is the language of the Irish, it is also important in order to grasp the full cultural experience of what Ireland has to offer that one also has a good grasp of English!! For in order to understand and really appreciate the relevance of kilmainham gaol, the book of kells or even the giants causeway - it helps to know the history behind it - as I am sure you can appreciate.

Secondly, I of course cannot critique your observations of the merrily drunk Irish, which is a common occurance in Ireland. However, I feel it is important to point out the vital role that pubs and bars play in Irish society ranging from the supply of quality music to the provision of good conversation and a market for the caliente populace to meet and hook up. What other city provides its citizens with 700 pubs to meet fellow horny people and get them drunk enough to kiss you!! Now thats service with a smile!!

Also I feel you gave a very unfair description of Irish women and how they dress - not all of us are fortunate enough to be endowed with breasts big enough to be bulging out of our tops. Sergio, have you forgotten about what you said about Irish Girls eyes and how pretty they were?? I am beginning to be a bit sceptical about this comment if all you remember are tits and big hips!! Surely, Irish girls have more to offer than this?? we are great tour guides remember!! :P

Finally, the Irish weather, alas I cannot argue with you that it is attrocious but and this is a big but, Ireland is renowned for its shit weather, people usually come prepared for rain and wind, however, as you so rightly stated it does not act as a deterant i.e. the crowds of tourists one witnesses in temple bar everyday. Ireland, however, has so much to offer its tourists from its buskers, beautiful architecture, historical sites, and the famous irish wit and charm that the weather never dampens peoples spirits or experiences....which I hope you can vouch for.

I think I have succeeded in balancing out your review somewhat...I hope that the readers of your blog with have a more rounded view of Ireland and will take both points of view into consideration if and when they are planning a trip over ;) who could pass up having your own tour guide to ply you with drink and bring you to all the best places!! :) talk soon xx
